The new year has only really just begun but lots of exciting things are already happening for me in 2018! As many of you will already know (if you read my Goodbye 2017 hello 2018 post) I have a new job!
Yesterday my friend and I decided to have a longer lunch and actually venture outside the four walls of our office which is handily located right next to the Quayside in Newcastle. I'm a born and bred Geordie and I'm ashamed to say I've never indulged in dining out during Restaurant Week - that is until yesterday!
There's nothing I love more than a hearty roast dinner on a Sunday afternoon and it's even tastier when you don't have to cook or do the dishes.
Wouldn't we all love to know what we actually do with our time? There's 24 hours in a day but how many times have you lost track of time completely? To tackle this issue many people use time-tracking software.
The presents have been opened, the tins of chocolate demolished and the rest of the turkey population can breathe a sigh of relief - that's Christmas done and dusted for another year!
Moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do and can really put a major strain on relationships. The husband and I moved house recently and I thought I'd share some pearls of wisdom. We wouldn't have been able to move and unpack so much without the help and support of both sets of parents for which we are very grateful.
I can't quite believe that 2017 is coming to an end and we're preparing to say hello to 2018! What a year 2017 has been.
I was kindly nominated for the Bloggers Recognition Award by the lovely Jessica. You can check out her fabulous blog here - she blogs mainly about makeup. You can see her original post here.
With it being Christmas Eve I’m feeling reflective on my family traditions for the festive period. It’s probably because on top of the usual hustle and bustle of juggling work with preparing for Christmas we’ve also moved into our new home, so we might not be carrying out some of our traditions this year.
