Hello! A little about me…

Hello 👋🏻

I’m Rachael Stray a proud no-longer exiled Geordie who thought I’d try my hand at blogging.

You’ll find a mixture of posts including reviews and recommendations, musings about life here in the fabulous North East, relating to my work in the comms and PR world and much much more!

A little about me…

I’m a born and bred proud Geordie who has recently returned back up to my native North East after a four-year stint living in lovely Lincolnshire.

I’m an NCTJ trained journalist who has spent the last three years working my way up the communications and PR ladder. You can find out more about why I made the move from journalism to the dark side of PR here.

I’m approaching thirty and have set myself some goals to try to achive before my big birthday which you can see here and I’m happily married to my amazing husband Steve.

There may be a blog or two about the trials and tribulations of married life too such as how an innocent trip to IKEA inspired a couples survival post, you can check that out here.

I post on Sunday and Tuesday mornings and I’m happy to guest blog too – just ask!

I hope you enjoy my blogs and feel free to leave your thoughts and feedback and of course please get in touch.
